Overall a very productive Huddle. Just ten minutes of our day and I feel confident we're on the right track; everyone is clear about what they need to do and motivated to take action.

How are we performing? Are there any gaps in performance?
Visual Management Boards (VMBs)
We use VMBs to guide Huddle discussions and help all team members answer the questions, "How are we performing?" and "Are there any gaps?"
By visually displaying our performance on the VMB, the team can see at a glance how well our business is performing, helping us focus the Huddle discussion on:
- Where we are now
- Where we want to be
- What we can do to bridge any gaps
Let's get together to review our current performance and decide the actions we have to take ...
As you have just seen, Huddles are short, energetic, stand-up meetings that take place with the team "huddled" around the Visual Management Board.
We hold team Huddles to review current performance, identify ideas for improvement and decide on actions to take.
Why are we getting these results? How can we do better?
Continuous Improvement (CI)
CI is the ongoing effort to improve what we deliver to our customers (products and services) and how we deliver it (processes), including both incremental and breakthrough improvements. CI thinking is underpinned by the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) framework to plan, test and learn before we commit to a solution.
Do we have a standard way of working? Is everyone following that standard way? Is it current?
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
SOPs are documents describing the standard way of doings things in the best possible way in the given circumstances. SOPs help deliver consistent customer experiences and outcomes every time.
